FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to transport engineering. Proposed mechanism comprises spare wheel holder covering half the wheel circumference and consisting of angle pieces bent in circle, centreline crosspieces and axial ties to connected sais angle pieces. Said mechanism is articulated with bus body or chassis and with spare wheel lifting and lowering hydraulic cylinder. Said hydraulic cylinder is articulated with bus body or chassis. Mechanism comprises hydraulic system fed from bus steering pump. Spare wheel holder hinge coupling it with bus body is located on bus outer side relative to spare wheel centre at bus body in static position.
EFFECT: lower labour input.
