SUBSTANCE: to study the process of high-speed penetration into the barrier. The essence of the invention lies in the fact that the probe for penetrating into a multilayer barrier contains a body with a nose, a container with a payload placed in the inner cavity of the probe with specified radial and axial clearances and connected to the body using a destructible fastener, while the probe is equipped with a device fixing the container in the final state, made in the form of corresponding contact surfaces, in the form of matching surfaces of bodies of revolution, one of which is the inner surface of the thrust element located in the bottom part of the probe cavity, and the other, directed towards it, is the surface of the container, distant from each other another with a given axial gap, as well as a power elastic element installed in the housing and interacting with the container, while the force of the power elastic element coincides with the probe velocity vector and is less than the force of destruction of the fastener, and also a damping insert placed in the gap between the container and probe cavity.

EFFECT: providing the possibility of creating a probe for penetrating into a multilayer barrier, which makes it possible to ensure the maximum reduction in shock effects on the payload when interacting with various barriers.
