FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to thrust bearings used in turbomachines or other equipment with rotating elements. Thrust bearing (16) comprises one or more inserts (24), which are attached to pliable body (38) of the bearing and each of which has a thrust surface, as well as a device for supply of pressurized gas lubricant to thrust surface of inserts (24) and damping device (26, 28) operating in parallel to pliable body. Also disclosed is a turbomachine comprising said bearing (16).
EFFECT: technical result is the creation of a thrust bearing with a gas lubricant, using both hydrodynamic pressure, and hydrostatic supercharging, as well as suitable for use in high-output turbomachines (for example, over 300 kW).
