FIELD: welding flat metal parts.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for processing a weld during welding and crystallization. Ultrasonic vibrations are applied to the parts to be welded during welding and subsequent crystallization by means of an ultrasonic oscillatory system. The emitter is installed perpendicular to the surface of the parts to be welded pressing to the surface of one of the parts to be welded at a distance λ from the vertical axis of the emitter to the axis of symmetry of the weld in its cross section, where λ is the wavelength of natural bending vibrations of the connected parts, which corresponds to the resonant frequency of the ultrasonic vibrating system. The parts to be welded are fixed on supports located at a distance of 7/4λ from said axis of symmetry of the weld. The application of ultrasonic vibrations is finished after the welded joint has cooled below the recrystallization temperature of the welded metal.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to simplify the method of applying ultrasonic vibrations while increasing the efficiency of ultrasonic action in the process of crystallization of the weld metal and at the same time reducing energy consumption.
