FIELD: metal hydraulic structures.
SUBSTANCE: reduction of the wave impact on port facilities and water areas, coastal recreation facilities. The wave canceling structure is a metal frame, the side walls of which are made of tubular elements with a diameter of at least 700 mm with diagonal load-bearing elements, filled with figured blocks, concrete blocks or stone and installed on a stone bedding. At the same time, the metal frame itself is completely submerged in water, and the top of the rock blanket protrudes above the water horizon by at least 3-5 meters and is made in the classical form of a semi-slope stake of the rock blanket. The mass of the rock blanket of figured blocks or large stones is 13 tons. The use of diagonal joints of the metal frame effectively redistributes the resulting load on all structural elements and more effectively preserves the integrity of the structure.
EFFECT: simplifying the construction of a wave canceling structure and increasing the reliability of its operation.
