FIELD: production and delivery of a reaction mixture.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions related, in particular, to a foaming reaction mixture for producing foam. The device contains a mixing head for mixing the reaction components, which are fed through two supply lines to the mixing head under the pressure that prevails in the containers. The device contains a pressure reduction system to relieve pressure in the supply lines to avoid leakage of the reaction components into the mixing head. The pressure reduction system comprises two high pressure tanks, each provided with two sides separated by a membrane. One of these sides forms an expansion chamber for the reaction component, while the other side is connected to the pneumatic system. By means of this pneumatic system, the pressure in the expansion chamber can be increased before starting to produce the reaction mixture. After the reaction mixture has been obtained, pressure can again be lowered in the expansion chamber and therefore in the supply line.

EFFECT: provision of a pressure reduction system with simplified maintenance.
