FIELD: powder metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: production of metal lead-brass powders. It can be used for the manufacture of friction parts, for small parts in microengineering, for spraying decorative coatings. Lead-brass powder is obtained by electroerosive dispersion of LS58-3 grade alloy waste in distilled water at an electrode voltage of 150–200 V, a condenser capacity of 50–55 μF, and a pulse repetition rate of 50–100 Hz.
EFFECT: obtaining a powder of the correct spherical shape with a uniform distribution of alloying elements, ensuring the environmental cleanliness of the process.
