FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy and may be used in production of leaded brass for protection of machine parts against wear. Method of producing alloy from powder of lead brass “ЛС58-3” comprises providing powder obtained by electroerosion dispersion of wastes of alloy “ЛС58-3”, and sintering obtained powder. Providing the “ЛС58-3” lead brass powder obtained by electroerosion dispersion of “ЛС58-3” alloy wastes in isopropyl alcohol with voltage at electrodes of 150–200 V, capacitor capacitance of 45–65 mcF and pulse repetition frequency of 50–100 Hz, spark plasma sintering is performed at temperature 100 °C, pressure of 40 MPa and holding time of 5 minutes.
EFFECT: improved physical and mechanical properties.
