FIELD: closing jars.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment for vacuum capping and is intended for creating a vacuum in containers and sealing for the purpose of preserving food. The apparatus for vacuum capping jars comprises a tin rolling lid including a side liner in shape of a ring, an annular seal for the upper part of the neck of the jar, and a groove for placing the outer edge of the side liner. Stiffening ribs and a vacuum control valve are therein stamped on the lid.
EFFECT: possibility of vacuum preservation in domestic, household and industrial conditions.
