FIELD: packing industry.
SUBSTANCE: sealing lid for glass jar has body arranged of plastically deformed material in the form of round cup turned upside down and closed circular edge, which is installed with its bottom on the side of internal cavity at the end of glass jar. Lid edge is tightly pressed to side surface of glass jar neck. Between lid bottom and glass jar neck there is a sealing gasket in the form of round disk glued to bottom or installed as detachable next to it. Sealing gasket has diametre that equals to diametre of glass jar neck and is arranged of aseptic elastic material. Body of lid is made of shrink plastic.
EFFECT: avoiding usage of metal lids and lid sealing machines, improved shelf life of products in proper quality.
