FIELD: diesel fuel.
SUBSTANCE: methods for controlling the quality of fuels. A method is proposed for determining the limiting temperature of diesel fuel filterability, which consists in the gradual cooling of the inspected diesel fuel in a cooling bath at intervals of 1°C and draining it through the filter until it stops flowing for 60 s, while the cooling temperature is minus 88±2°C, and cooling with an interval of 1°C fixing the time of pumping through the filter, they start from a temperature of minus 60°C.
EFFECT: development of a method for determining the limiting temperature of diesel fuel filterability.
