FIELD: experimental medicine; pharmacology.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to model drug-induced neurotoxicity. The method is as follows: the animals are injected a complex of anti-tuberculosis drugs in 0.1% starch gel — moxifloxacin 36 mg/kg, linezolid 54 mg/kg, protionamide 90 mg/kg, cycloserine 90 mg/kg intragastrically daily for 14 days. As experimental animals, female rats aged 10–12 months and weighing 330–350 g are used.
EFFECT: invention allows to create a model of neurotoxicity in a short time and with minimal general toxicity to laboratory animals.
