METHOD FOR FORMATION OF SHORTENED REGIMENS OF CHEMOTHERAPY FOR RESPIRATORY TUBERCULOSIS WITH MULTIPLE AND EXTENSIVE DRUG RESISTANCE OF MBT IN OLDER CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC A61K31/133 A61K31/195 A61K31/431 A61K31/497 A61K31/5377 A61P31/06

Abstract RU 2748957 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to therapy and pulmonology, and concerns the formation of shortened regimens of chemotherapy for respiratory tuberculosis with multiple (MDR) and extensively drug-resistant (XDR) mycobacterium tuberculosis (MBT) in older children and adolescents. To do this, a shortened regimen is formed on the basis of the MBT DST test with the inclusion of anti-tuberculosis drugs of the main series: pyrazinamide, ethambutol, amikacin, levofloxacin/moxifloxacin, bedaquiline, linezolid. prothionamide, cycloserine/terizidone, capreomycin, aminosalicylic acid, imipenem, meropenem, amoxicillin in the form of an intensive phase lasting 3 or 6 months with the appointment of 5-6 drugs and a continuation phase of 9 or 6 months, respectively, with the appointment of 3 drugs. If the MBT remains sensitive to 4 anti-tuberculosis drugs, the chemotherapy regimen for respiratory tuberculosis is carried out only in the form of an intensive phase lasting 12 months.

EFFECT: invention provides effective treatment of tuberculosis with multiple and extensively drug-resistant MBT while reducing side effects by reducing the time of administration of anti-tuberculosis drugs.
