SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to determine the degree of radical preparation of the oral cavity for implant prosthetics in elderly patients. To do this, the following criteria for the morphofunctional state of the patient's oral cavity are determined and evaluated in points: pathological tooth mobility; destruction of the crown of the tooth; vitality of the tooth; condition of the gingival margin; the presence of gum pockets; recession of the gingival margin; bleeding of the gingival margin; suppuration from the gum pocket; halitosis; dental deposits (plaque); deformation of the occlusal surface of the dentition; fan-shaped divergence of teeth; the presence of blockade of the lower jaw movements; the presence of supra- or infraocclusion; pain on percussion and chewing; horizontal bone atrophy; vertical atrophy of bone tissue; apical foci of chronic inflammation; defective existing dentures, the need to replace them; stable intact teeth. All points are summed up. With a score of 0–19, sparing sanitation and classic prosthetics are indicated; with a score of 20–39 points implant prosthetics are indicated; with a score of 40–58 points radical sanitation with immediate prosthetics are indicated.

EFFECT: invention provides an increase in the efficiency and long-term preservation of the results of prosthetics.
