FIELD: group of inventions relates to verification of means for measuring electrical quantities, in particular, welding processes measuring instrument and recorder.
SUBSTANCE: method for verification of a welding processes measuring instrument and recorder includes assembling a stand containing a current source, a cable with a reference current meter included in the circuit, with a formed group of turns, around which there is a Rogowsky coil of the verifiable device; supply by a current source of pulses of various strength, duration and direction of current; carrying out measurements with fixing the obtained values of the current strength, and the number of turns is determined by the formula: NB≥IDmax/ IEmax, where IDmax - the upper limit of the measurement range of the current strength of the device under test; IEmax - the upper limit of the reference current meter.
EFFECT: significant expansion of the range of the measured current (up to ±100 kA) and verified devices, in expanding the list of methods for verifying electrical quantities measuring instruments and increasing the convenience of verification.
