FIELD: laser welding.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related in particular to a welding chamber, and can be used for welding parts and assemblies of fuel assemblies of nuclear reactors. The welding chamber contains a cover consisting of a cover body, cup, a clamping bar, seals and clamping cylinders, a hinge mechanism, a body, a platform for installing parts, a rotary pneumatic drive and an opening for supplying and discharging gases. The rotary pneumatic actuator has at least three fixed positions with the possibility of adjustment and position control. Shut-off valves are connected to the outlet openings, a gas supply system with the ability to control and adjust pressure and flow, and a vacuum system with the ability to control and adjust pressure and pumping speed are connected to the shut-off valves. A collector is installed in the chamber for supplying gases to the glass for its cooling and removal of welding aerosols. Between the body and the cover there is a lock controlled by a pneumatic cylinder.

EFFECT: increasing efficiency of welding and quality of welded joints.
