FIELD: laser welding.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for welding zirconium tubes and other materials in shielding gases and can be used in all industries. The unit comprises a base, a welding chamber mounted on a bracket, a sealing unit for the chamber. A drive for moving the optical laser head is installed above the welding chamber. The sealing unit drive is fixed on the welding chamber. On the base, a drive for moving zirconium tubes is fixed using bolts, with a drive for clamping and rotating zirconium tubes installed on it, consisting of a drive housing, an electric motor, a belt drive, support shafts, a pneumatic cylinder bracket, a pneumatic cylinder, an axle, a rocker arm and a clamping shaft. The pneumatic cylinder is connected to a pneumatic system, which consists of an air preparation unit, to which a receiver, pressure switch, pressure reducing valves, and distributors are connected. The welding gas supply system consists of a helium supply line and an argon supply line. The helium supply line is connected to a humidity sensor, which is connected through a filter to a proportional distributor, which is connected through a flow sensor to the lower opening of the welding chamber. The argon supply line is connected to a proportional distributor through a filter. The proportional distributor is connected to a flow sensor, which is connected to the bottom opening of the welding chamber.

EFFECT: improving the quality of the welded seam of zirconium tubes by removing atmospheric gases, supplying shielding gases to the welding chamber, precise positioning relative to the laser beam, and using drives for rotation and fixation of zirconium tubes.
