FIELD: electrical measurement technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical measurement technology. Tester consists of two devices assembled in one common line for operation, the tester is connected to the same path and speed sensor cable at different ends. A signal generator supplies signals in series to each contact on the path and speed sensor cable. A pair of LEDs at the other end of the track and speed sensor cable indicates signal passing and receiving. Each pair of LEDs corresponds to a specific contact on the path and speed sensor cable. The integrity of the cable is determined to exclude open or short circuits between cores.
EFFECT: invention provides reliable and quick testing process, expand the range of technical means and ensure accurate detection of damaged cable cores.
