FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a control system of an electronic surgical stapler and an electronic surgical stapler. The electronic stapler contains a control system. The control system comprises a stapler body and a cutting component connected to the stapler body, a component identification module, a position detection module, and a control module. There is a trigger on the body of the stapler. The component identification module is configured to generate an actual identification signal when the cutting component is properly connected to the stapler body. The position detection module is designed to generate an actual signal of staying at the starting point when the cutting component is moved to the starting point. The control module is designed to control the cutting component to perform cutting and stitching operations according to the first trigger signal issued by the trigger mechanism, after the control module receives the current identification signal and the current signal of staying at the starting point. The component identification module includes two sets of stroke identification contact components provided inside the stapler body. The stroke identification contact components are in one-to-one correspondence with the stroke values of the cutting components and are spaced apart along the installation direction of the cutting components. The stroke identification contact components are connected to the control module to determine if the cutting component is properly installed on the stapler body after any stroke identification contact component conducts communication, and to send the actual identification signal to the control module, which includes the a cutting stroke of the cutting component corresponding to the stroke identification contact component making the conductive connection.
EFFECT: surgical electronic stapler and its control system with a component identification module configured to determine whether the cutting component is properly installed on the stapler body due to design features is provided.
