FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine. Surgical instrument contains an end effector straightened by the sensor, which is connected to the shaft at the point of hinge fold. End effector can be bent at an angle to the shaft. Sensor is located on the shaft or on the end effector. Sensor is configured to detect a rough proximal movement. If a rough proximal movement is detected, the sensor generates signal to monitor the motor and start straightening process, in order to straighten the end effector relative to the shaft.
EFFECT: surgical instrument is proposed.
