FIELD: veterinary medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to veterinary medicine, in particular to methods for preventing circovirus infection in pigs. The method for increasing post-vaccination immunity against porcine circovirus infection includes joint intramuscular administration of the vaccine and an immunological and metabolic modulator. Ingelvak CircoFLEX is used as a vaccine, and a preparation containing leukocyte proteins and peptides isolated from the blood of cattle donors hyperimmunized with Ingelvak CircoFLEX vaccine is used as an immunological and metabolic modulator, with an activity of 100±10 EEA/ml at a dose of 0.19-0 .21 ml per 1 kg of live weight. The introduction is carried out to 21-day-old piglets once.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase the safety of the livestock and the growth rate of pigs by prolonging the immune response and modulating the metabolic functions of the animal's liver.
