FIELD: veterinary science.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to veterinary medicine and is intended to protect pigs from infections caused by Lawsonia intracellularis and PCV2. Vaccine, a method for production and use thereof, as well as a method of protecting pigs from infection using this vaccine are disclosed. Vaccine includes inactivated whole cell Lawsonia intracellularis bacteria and an adjuvant containing less than 12.5 % (v/v) mineral oil and is administered intradermally.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides effective protection against Lawsonia intracellularis and PCV2 infection and helps reduce local reactions to vaccine administration.
