FIELD: early detection of wood decay of architectural monuments.
SUBSTANCE: remote determination of the carbon dioxide content at the surface of the wood, the carbon dioxide content in the air and the absolute moisture content of the wood is carried out based on the signal from the sensors placed on the wooden structures of the architectural monument, and the presence of wood rotting is estimated by exceeding the carbon dioxide content of wood surface by more than 26% of the carbon dioxide content in the air and exceeding the absolute moisture content of wood by more than 22%.
EFFECT: improving the accuracy of detecting rotting wood of an architectural monument.
