FIELD: hydrogen cracking process.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a hydrogen cracking process for converting light gas oil feedstock to produce a diesel product, comprising introducing said light gas oil feedstock into a first reaction zone formed by a first reactor and containing a first pre-treatment catalyst to obtain a first reactor effluent, and introducing it into a second reaction zone formed by a second reactor and containing a first hydrogen cracking catalyst, obtaining from said second reaction zone a second reactor effluent; mixing the second reactor effluent with wash water to remove at least part of the ammonia and hydrogen sulphide and introducing the purified second reactor effluent into the first separation zone, from which the first separation liquid is introduced into the third reaction zone formed by the third reactor, and inside the third reaction zone there is an upper layer having the volume of the upper layer and containing the second pre-treatment catalyst, and a lower layer having the volume of the upper layer and containing the second cracking catalyst in a hydrogen environment. Obtaining from said third reaction zone a third reactor effluent and introducing it into a second separation zone formed by a second separator vessel providing a means of separating said third reactor effluent into a second separator vapour and a second separator liquid which is introduced into the main distillation column providing distillation separation said second separator fluid to produce at least a bottom product and another product.
EFFECT: obtaining high quality diesel fuel with ultra-low sulphur content.
