SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a hydroprocessing method involving: hydroprocessing a hydrocarbon feed stream in a hydroprocessing reactor to obtain a stream of hydroprocessing output products at a hydroprocessing pressure; separating said stream of hydroprocessing output products in a separator to obtain a stream of gases and a liquid stream; stripping light gases from said liquid stream to obtain a stream of offtaken off-gas and the distilled hydro-processed stream; adding hydrogen to said distilled hydroprocessed stream; and hydroisomerisation of said distilled hydroprocessed stream over a hydroisomerisation catalyst in the presence of a hydrogenisomerisation hydrogen stream at a hydroisomerisation pressure which is less than the hydroprocessing pressure, wherein said hydroprocessing reaction is carried out at a pressure which is at least 1.4 MPa (200 pounds per square inch) higher than the pressure of the hydroisomerisation reaction, wherein said hydroisomerisation hydrogen stream is not in a recycle gas loop, which includes a recirculation gas compressor which feeds a stream of hydrogen gas into said hydroprocessing reactor.
