FIELD: irrigation.
SUBSTANCE: demonstration irrigation installation includes a fenced flat area of land with a slope, the size of the irrigation zone is 200 by 110 m with vegetation, equipped with an irrigation system and divided into 2 parts in form of strips of 200 by 50 m. One part is left with untouched natural vegetation, and the other with dug ditches with a depth of 300 to 500 mm with a step of 50 m along the slope, or the strips of both parts are assumed to be 100 by 50 m in size with a step of dug ditches of 25 m, having collection trays in the lower part of both areas for comparative determination of infiltration efficiency of dug ditches.
EFFECT: efficiency of the demonstration irrigation installation is increased.
