FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of disclosed inventions is related to a water-soluble tablet for treatment or prevention of vitamin D deficiency, which includes hydrophilized colecalciferol, mannitol and sodium benzoate as target additives, and the total amount of colecalciferol in the tablet is therapeutically effective, with at least 95% initial particles of Colecalciferol (by weight) having a size of not more than 180 microns, while mannitol and sodium benzoate are contained in the following ratio to the active substance, in pts. wt. per 1000 pts. wt. of Colecalciferol: Mannitol - 3.2-7.6; Sodium benzoate - 0.3-1.0. The group of inventions is also related to a method for producing a water-soluble tablet and to the use of Colecalciferol particles to produce water-soluble Colecalciferol tablets.
EFFECT: stability during storage, strength (friability less than 1%) and rapid disintegration of the tablet, which makes it possible to use Colecalciferol in form of a clear aqueous solution for treatment or prevention of vitamin D deficiency in the body.
