FIELD: UAVs.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a device and a method for forming an orthophotomap. The device is designed to be installed on an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) and comprises a camera, a flight controller, a camera control module, a module for determining image quality, and an image set generation module. To form an orthophotomap, a set of terrain images obtained by aerial photography using a UAV is obtained, images are orthorectified, cutlines are calculated and orthorectified images are stitched along the cutlines to form an orthophotomap, while the set of images comprises at least one additional image obtained by additional shooting to replace or supplement the main image if necessary.
EFFECT: improvement of image quality, acceleration of aerial photography.
