FIELD: energy storage.

SUBSTANCE: gravitational storage of electric energy belongs to the field of energy and can be used to accumulate energy from wind turbines, as well as to accumulate cheap electricity at night and release it during the day to smooth out peak loads. The result is achieved due to the fact that the gravitational storage of electrical energy is placed on a pile foundation with a sandy base and contains a set of vertical posts, fastened together by transverse beams, forming cells with a rectangular section, made of pipe concrete, each of the cells has its own independent load, electric motor generators placed on the roof of the structure are made with the ability to move independent loads in a vertical plane during accumulation and generation of electricity, independent loads are connected by means of slings with lifting and triggering mechanisms, located on the roof above the cells, while lifting and triggering mechanisms are connected by shafts driven by electric motor generators, retractable bolts are made at the corners of the cells with a rectangular section with the possibility of mechanical fixation of the lifted load, the floor on the roof of the gravitational storage is made in form of a continuous mesh cover.
