FIELD: polymer production.
SUBSTANCE: composite polymeric biocidal material containing a matrix polymer and modified particles, characterized in that the matrix polymer is an epoxy polymer, and the modified particles with a mass concentration of not less than 0.2% and not more than 1% by weight, which are evenly distributed in the epoxy polymer, are metal oxide particles with a biocidal effect, the average particle size of the metal oxide is 500 nm, each of the metal oxide particles is placed in a shell of polylactide with a thickness of not more than 10 nm, which has adhesion to the epoxy polymer, and such particles are located inside epoxy polymer in such a way that the surface of the composite polymeric biocidal material does not contain modified particles and consists only of the epoxy polymer.
EFFECT: targeted toxic effect on microorganisms, such as fungi, that cause the destruction of the matrix polymer due to the fact that the composite polymeric biocidal material consists of a matrix polymer and modified particles that have a biocidal effect and are coated with a biodegradable polymer shell that has adhesion to the matrix polymer, and modified the particles are located in the composite polymeric biocidal material in such a way that the surface of such a composite polymeric biocidal material does not contain these particles and consists only of the matrix polymer.
