POLYMER COMPOSITE MATERIAL WITH ANTIMICROBIAL EFFECT BASED ON DIVALENT COPPER OXIDE MICROSPHERES Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC C08K3/22 C08J3/22 A01N59/20

Abstract RU 2802014 C1

FIELD: composites.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a polymeric composite material with antimicrobial activity, which can be used to create medical, packaging and agricultural products. Polymer composite material (PCM) has antimicrobial activity for at least 30 days. PCM is characterized by a tensile strength of more than 10 MPa, a relative elongation in the range of 4-400% and a melt flow rate of at least 1 g/10 min, and has a controlled biodegradability. PCM consists of an antimicrobial additive in an amount of 0.1–5 wt.%, a polymer for creating a superconcentrate in an amount of 0.04–5 wt.%, and a thermoplastic polymer in an amount of 99.86–90 wt.%.

EFFECT: development of a polymeric material having a prolonged antimicrobial effect for at least 30 days and characterized by a tensile strength of more than 10 MPa, a relative elongation in the range of 4-400%, a melt flow rate of at least 1 g/10 min, having a controlled biodegradability, which will provide technological properties that are optimal for processing materials in standard equipment.
