SUBSTANCE: invention relates to assembling of tires. In compliance with this invention, carcass workpiece is made on forming drum. Carcass workpiece comprises, at least, one carcass layer and two annular fasteners. Outer workpiece is made on auxiliary drum. Said outer workpiece comprises, at least, one breaker layer and tread band. Auxiliary drum is arranged on assembly station. Outer workpiece is removed from auxiliary drum. Auxiliary drum is arranged on assembly station. Outer workpiece is arranged radially outward relative to carcass workpiece made on forming drum. Forming devices are coupled with forming drum. Carcass workpiece torus shape is made.
EFFECT: higher efficiency and quality.
