FIELD: chemical industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in production of ceramic materials and products, in scientific research, in analytical chemistry, in manufacturing electronic devices, photovoltaic devices and solar cells. The tin salt (II) is oxidized in an aqueous medium without using an organic solvent by direct interaction with a mixture of 65-68% nitric HNO3 and 32-35% hydrochloric HCl acids in a 1:3 volume ratio or 37% aqueous peroxide solution hydrogen in the presence of hydrochloric HCl, or nitric HNO3, or sulfuric H2SO4, or acetic CH3COOH acids.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to simplify the process of obtaining a tin salt (IV) in form of an aqueous solution resistant to hydrolysis and to ensure an almost complete transfer of the mass of the initial reagent into the mass of the target product.
