FIELD: railway structures.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for protecting a railway tunnel by erecting a protective structure designed to prevent a contact explosion and attenuate an air shock wave from the impact of enemy cruise missiles during combat operations, to ensure the safety of the tunnel structures. The horizontal initiating screen for the protection of the railway tunnel is made of a metal sheet from the tank capacity on racks and beams of a metal frame made of rolled profiles from a used, decommissioned railway tank frame. Containers of dynamic protection are fixed on a metal sheet.
EFFECT: simplification of the tunnel protection structure, reduction of labour and material costs due to the use of used decommissioned railway tanks.
