FIELD: medical devices.
SUBSTANCE: invention describes a method and system for non-invasive treatment and monitoring of intracranial pressure and a device for measuring changes in skull volume. The group of inventions describes a method and system for non-invasive treatment and monitoring of intracranial pressure and a device for measuring changes in the volume of the skull. A system is proposed for implementing the method, the method including the steps of the following: detecting signals by means of a detecting device located on the user's head, wherein the following steps are carried out: converting analog signals into digital ones; digital signal filtering, which filters a subset of the least significant bits of the digital signals, said filtering step comprising: identifying trigger events based on the digital signals; wherein the software determines the correct placement of the detecting device on the user's head in the following steps: i. comparison by software during initial setup of the most significant bits of the digital signal with a predetermined threshold value to determine when the detecting device has been properly mounted on the user's head; and ii. initially transmitting by the transmitter, in accordance with the software, the entire digital signal, and then transmitting only the least significant bits until the software detects the removal of the detecting device; and transmitting the processed signals containing only the least significant bits by means of a transmitter to a preset receiver, wherein the transmitter and preset receiver are in wireless communication; moreover, the processed signals containing only the least significant bits are transmitted until another trigger event is detected, and the pre-configured receiver is configured to recover the entire digital signal; however, after the software detects another trigger event, the entire digital signal is transmitted by the transmitter to the preconfigured receiver.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides non-invasive treatment and monitoring of intracranial pressure.
