FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ophthalmic lenses with power and more particularly to wireless data transmission protocols for use in ophthalmic lenses with a power supply and other devices, ultra small and of limited capacity. Herein described is a wireless data transmission protocol for data transmission system, which can be used for transmitting data between a transmitter and receiver in any type of data transfer channel. Wireless data transmission protocol provides reduced time of the receiver in active or switched on condition that, in its turn, reduces power consumption. Wireless data transmission protocol enables to reduce complexity and size of the receiver. Methodology used in the protocol uses a unique message frame, combined with retransmission and periodic searches performed by the receiver.
EFFECT: technical result - reducing synchronisation time and reducing the time for the receiver to be on.
