FIELD: chemical analysis.

SUBSTANCE: measuring techniques intended for quantitative chemical analysis of the air. The formaldehyde gas analyzer includes a housing located on the base, in which the following is installed: a measuring unit, a controller unit with a control panel and an LCD display. The measuring unit includes a discharge pump arranged in series and connected by capillary tubes, a flow cell with two built-in photodetectors, a degasser, a reactor with a heating coil, and an LED is installed in front of the flow cell. The measuring unit reactor is equipped with two inlets, the casing additionally contains a sampling unit, which includes an air pump, an air filter, a mass air flow regulator, and a coil-reactor, arranged in series and connected by capillary tubes, and a coil-reactor, combined with a separator, which is connected at the outlet to the first inlet of the measuring reactor unit, as well as a peristaltic pump connected by capillary tubes to two containers installed on the base: one inlet - with a container of sulfuric acid solution, the other inlet - with a container of a reagent for fluorescence, while the outlet of the peristaltic pump is connected to the inlet of the cassette switch, one outlet of the cassette switch connected to the coil-reactor, and its second output is connected to the second input of the reactor of the measuring unit.

EFFECT: enabling the determination of low concentrations of formaldehyde in the gas phase.
