FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: in a distributed sensor for measuring a variable environmental parameter, comprising a sensing element made as a wrapped optical fiber and intended to be placed in said medium, and a coherent phase-sensitive optical reflectometer, optically coupled to the fiber through an optical interface, comprising a source of a periodic sequence of optical test signals optically coupled to the interface, made in the form of a series of optically connected continuous laser and a modulator forming a periodic sequence of impulse test signals, and a scattered radiation receiver that converts the scattered optical radiation into an electrical signal applied to a processing unit connected to a control and synchronization unit connected to a source of a periodic optical pulse sequence, processing unit comprises a frequency filter with a pass band induced by the medium in the sensor element of the oscillations in the frequency range of the measured parameter, while the frequency filter can be made in the form of a set of replaceable frequency filters with different bandpasses designed to measure different medium variables, or in the form of a set of frequency filters with different bandwidths designed to form a set of bandpasses in frequency ranges, characteristic exclusively for the measured variable environment parameter, in particular, for measuring the temperature the filter is made with a bandpass range from 0 to 25 Hz, to measure vibro-acoustic characteristics the filter is made with a bandpass range from 25 Hz to 1 kHz.
EFFECT: expanded performances of a distributed sensor by registering various parameters.
