FIELD: measuring.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to instrumentation and is intended for analysis of amplitude-phase characteristics of light radiation scattered from different sections of fibre-optic sensitive element, and can be used for monitoring and protection of extended objects. Multichannel distributed fibre-optic sensor comprises functionally connected transceiving optical module 1, amplifying optical module 2, sensitive element 3, made in the form of optical fibre and containing at least one point sensor (detector) 4, wherein point sensors (detectors) 4 have vibroacoustic connections 29 with sensitive element 3, and computer 5. Transceiving optical module 1 comprises narrow-band continuous laser 6, optical radiation modulator 7, photodetector 8, signal processing unit 9, frequency filter 10, point sensor (detector) filter 12 and post-processing, control and synchronization unit 11. Point sensor (detector) 4 comprises primary sensor 16, generator 21, driver 22 and vibration transducer 23. In receiving-transmitting optical module 1 additionally introduced are second filter 13 of the point sensor (detector) 4, module (unit) for generating a bit sequence of information message 14 of point sensor (detector) 4 and point sensor (detector) 4 information message decoding module 15.
