FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: device for determining the force of combing out weeds contains a frame (1), front and rear rotor disks (2 and 3) sequentially mounted on the frame (1), rotatably located on shafts with front and rear sprockets and interconnected by a chain drive (7) with gear ratio i<1. Curved beams (8) are mounted on each rotor disk (2 and 3) so that the beams (8) of the front rotor disks (2) are bent in the opposite direction relative to the beams (8) of the rear rotor disks (3). The beams (8) of the rotor disks (2 and 3) have a comb in the end part. The chain drive (7) additionally comprises a monobloc (10), which is attached to the bracket (12) by means of a strain gauge torque converter. In the lower part of the frame (1) in front of each rotor disk (2 and 3) there are front and rear video cameras (13 and 14), the lens of which is directed to the weed combing zone. Tensometric torque converter, front and rear video cameras (13 and 14) are connected via cables (15) to an analogue-to-digital converter (16).
EFFECT: determination of force per unit length of the extracted weed root is provided.
