FIELD: antenna technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a printed antenna array with wide-angle scanning with the purpose of increasing the range of scanning angles of the antenna array beam and the operating frequency range, simplifying the design of the antenna array and reducing losses. It is achieved by the fact that the antenna array contains a plurality of antenna array elements, each of which includes a main printed circuit board, on top of which there is a middle layer and an additional printed circuit board, and on the upper surface of the main printed circuit board and on the upper surface of the additional printed circuit board there is a patch an antenna, wherein the antenna array element further includes a cavity in the middle layer reducing coupling between antenna array elements, the cavity in the middle layer including an air hole supporting communication of the patch antenna in the main circuit board and the patch antenna in the additional circuit board, and the main printed circuit board, the middle layer and the additional printed circuit board are interconnected by a connection that does not require galvanic contact.

EFFECT: increasing the range of scanning angles of the antenna array beam and the operating frequency range, simplifying the design of the antenna array and reducing losses.
