FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to monitor the operating condition of AC and DC electrical wiring. Essence: in a method for monitoring the working condition of an automotive wiring cable, an electric circuit is used, containing two back-to-back inductors connected in series with a capacitor, a high-frequency generator and a current sensor. In this case, the controlled cable acts as the core of two back-to-back inductors. Using a high-frequency generator, the electrical circuit is tuned to voltage resonance. When the current in the circuit decreases, a signal is sent to the electronic control unit of the car using a current sensor about a change in the working condition of the cable.
EFFECT: improving the accuracy of monitoring the working condition of automotive electrical wiring throughout the entire period of operation without dismantling the wiring.
