FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to devices for measuring the level of fuel in the fuel tanks of vehicles. Essence: a device for measuring the level and temperature of fuel in a fuel tank contains a capacitive fuel level sensor, a microcontroller connected to an interface converter, which in turn is connected to a data transmission line to an electronic control unit, as well as a supply voltage stabilizer and a fuel temperature sensor, while the device is additionally equipped with a precision timer and a digital isolator, the output of which is connected to the input of the microcontroller, and the outputs of the capacitive fuel level sensor are connected to the input of the precision timer, the output of which is connected to the digital input of the microcontroller. In its turn, the output of the fuel temperature sensor is connected to the analogue input of the microcontroller, while the data transmission line is two-wire.

EFFECT: increasing the accuracy of measuring the fuel level due to the introduction of a temperature correction of the fuel level, which will make it possible to control fuel consumption.
