FIELD: coherent-pulse radar stations (RLS) with scanning antennas.

SUBSTANCE: method for coherent accumulation and multichannel Doppler filtering of a burst of reflected signals in primary coherent-pulse radar stations (RLS) with scanning antennas. Сlaimed method consists of emission and subsequent reception of a burst of signals, amplification of the received signals and their conversion to digital form, matched filtering of a single burst pulse, storing the results of matched filtering for each range in a memory device, filtering a burst of stored data at each range by a system of Doppler filters in combination with window processing, detection by comparing the output signal of the filter with an adaptive detection threshold determined from the average noise power at the filter output. The frequency characteristics of the Doppler filters are defined as the convolution of the complex field distribution in the antenna aperture in the scanning plane with itself.

EFFECT: increase of probabilistic characteristics of object detection and minimization of power of passive interference.
