FIELD: electrical safety systems; fire safety.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an electrical safety system for detecting and eliminating such a hazard. The system includes a plurality of electrical safety devices, comprising a socket configured to receive a power plug of an electrical appliance for connecting a current source to an electrical appliance, a thermal sensor for detecting the surface temperature of the power plug when it is inserted into the socket, and a processor, as well as one or more remote devices and a wireless communication channel for sending a signal to the remote devices, wherein the electrical safety devices and the remote devices form a mesh network in which the electrical safety devices and the remote devices communicate with each other.
EFFECT: detecting the potential risk of fire at an earlier stage.
