SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wireless communication. Electronic communication device includes a network interface that can allow an electronic device to wirelessly communicate an electronic device with other electronic communication devices, Processor that detects at least one data path to other electronic devices using the Routing Information – Next Generation (RIPng) Protocol routing mechanism. After identifying at least one data path to other electronic devices, the processor can determine, whether the identified data path(s) is/are safe, using the Datagram Transport Layer Security (DTLS) protocol. If the identified data path(s) is (are) safe, the processor sends Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) data packets to other electronic communication devices via the secure data path(s).

EFFECT: technical result of the invention lies in the possibility of establishing a secure communication between electronic communication devices via a mesh network.
