SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method for determining the optimal strap tension of a wearable device for measuring physiological parameters and a wearable device with the function of measuring physiological parameters. A method is proposed for determining the optimal tension of the strap of a wearable device for measuring physiological parameters, in which the strap comprises a clasp and holes for fixing the strap on the user's wrist, the wearable device comprises at least one processor, a memory, a vibration motor, an accelerometer/gyroscope and a photoplethysmographic sensor comprising at least at least two light sources whose light wavelengths are different from each other. The method comprises the step of determining the hole on the strap to which the strap is to be fastened for optimal strap tension for measuring physiological parameters by processing at least the photoplethysmography signals of the photoplethysmographic sensor, the accelerometer/gyroscope signal and the vibration motor signal.

EFFECT: inventions provide an increase in the accuracy of measuring physiological parameters.
