FIELD: medicine, pancreatobiliary surgery, oncology.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for cystic neoplasia of the pancreas small size to obtain complex material in order to verify the genesis of cystic neoplasm. The cyst is punctured and its contents are aspirated. The cyst is filled with saline in the volume that was aspirated. The microforceps are then placed into the saline-filled 19G needle. A puncture of the cyst is performed, and then a biopsy of the wall and septum of the cyst is conducted. Before each establishment of the forceps, the contents are aspirated from the cyst and saline is injected in the volume that was aspirated.

EFFECT: method allows to increase the amount of obtained informative histological material and contents of a small cyst for further research, avoid artifacts, improve cyst visualization and increase biopsy sensitivity by filling the cyst cavity and needle with liquid and using microforceps.
