FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to surgery, and can find application in treating unilocular nonparasitic spleen cysts of the length 30-70 mm in children. Substance of the method consists in the ultrasound-aided percutaneous cyst puncture. The cyst puncture and aspiration are followed by cyst hardening by the introduction of 96% ethanol cooled to 25°C in the amount 1/2 of the aspirated cystic fluid with exposition of 5 minutes.
EFFECT: use of the given invention allows using a minimally invasive technique to reduce an operative injury, to reduce length of treatment, to eliminate potential recurrence.
