FIELD: material processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of processing low-rigid axisymmetric parts such as a shaft. The processing device contains two tool holders mounted on the transverse support of the machine, installed between two parts. The position of the cutters is controlled by an automatic control system equipped with three control circuits. The first control circuit for the electric drive of the transverse movements of the tool holders is rigidly connected to the worm shaft of the worm gear. The worm wheel has two output shafts, which are rigidly connected to the lead screws of the screw gears of the tool holders. One lead screw is made with a left-hand thread, and the other with a right-hand thread. The second circuit is connected to the electric drive of the longitudinal movement of the calliper and is rigidly connected to the lead screw of the calliper screw transmission. The third control circuit is connected to the input of the electric drive for rotation of the workpieces and its shaft is connected to the driving spindle and connected to the driven spindle through a V-belt drive.
EFFECT: increased productivity and rigidity of the machine.
